In 1978, Mitchell sold the business to his nephew, Henry Baker, who changed the name to Pump Service, Inc. to reflect the primary focus o the business.
27 years after purchasing the business, Baker passed it down to his sons, Steve and Legrand Baker. The company has remained a family-owned business ever since, continuing with the same principles upon which it was found.
